Frequently Asked Questions
Everything families and providers need to know about our services.
Does Medicaid cover EIDBI services?
Yes. EIDBI services at Aspire Counseling are covered by Minnesota Medicaid. We handle the authorization process and will walk your family through any paperwork needed to get started.
How do I know if my child qualifies for EIDBI?
To qualify for EIDBI in Minnesota, a child must be under age 21 and have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or a related condition. Our team can help determine eligibility during the intake process.
What is the difference between EIDBI and ABA?
EIDBI is a Minnesota Medicaid benefit that funds intensive services for children with ASD. ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is one of the therapies delivered under this benefit, using evidence-based behavioral techniques to build skills.
How many hours per week will my child receive?
Hours are determined by your childs individual needs identified during assessment. Our BCBA will develop a plan with the right intensity and discuss it with your family before services begin.
Home or clinic services?
Services can be provided at home, in the community, or at a clinic. We will discuss the best setting during intake.
